Weather: cloudy :(

Distance Covered: 4 miles (Nautical Miles - unless stated otherwise)

Was feeling all windsurfed out after four top sunny/windy days in a row where I covered 115 n/miles, breaking 30 kts twice (unheard of for me in Felixstowe) with a max of 31,31 kts (flat water) 27.17 (open sea) including a 24.94 n/mile and a 29.57 ave. so when the forecast sun failed to arrive this morning and given the fact we had things planned in Ipswich late afternoon ( the best time to sail) I decided to have a day off and Mag found a walk out of our local paper at Coddenham called the 'Country views and valleys walk'. We started as usual with breakfast at Leving before heading over to Coddenham just outside Ipswich parking in the Community Centre before heading off across pastures with lovely cows, past fantasic yellow fields of rape we lovely views of Scrubland Park, where we stopped for a picnic where in continued past open fields and woods and secluded cottages and farms :) At one point I nearly stood on a newly fledged Meadow Pipit hiding in the grass in the middle of the footpath !!! and finished the 4 mile walk after a couple of hours before then visiting my Dad , my son Dan and finishing with a top meal at friends before arriving home at 12:30 - top day :)
